Accommodation & Facilities at Posh Pets Spain

Our dog grooming training salon and living accommodation at Posh Pets Spain are situated 3km outside of Alhaurin el Grande, Malaga in Southern Spain– “Alhaurin meaning the garden of Allah”, one of the most burgeoning villages in the Guadalhorce valley on the inland Costa del Sol, it is steeped in history attracting a huge ex-pat community. Alhaurin el Grande is located 20 minutes from Marbella & the Costa del Sol, 15 minutes from the most photographed village in Spain which is Mijas and just an hour and forty minutes from the Spanish ski resort of Sierra Nevada. We are also close to Tarifa famous for its 10km of white sandy beaches & a real surfer’s paradise.

The dog grooming training salon and the living accommodation are set in the grounds of Finca Margarita & Posh Pets Spain. It is surrounded by 6000 sq metres of mature Mediterranean orchard boasting at least 15 different varieties of organically grown fruit such as oranges, lemons, and grapefruit of which students are encouraged to pick & eat as much as they wish.

A double & single bed, the beautiful accommodation has air conditioning, T.V, DVD, microwave, fridge and plenty of wardrobe space and overlooks the orchard. The apartment also benefits from wireless internet connection.

A large double room with its own bathroom

to include bath, shower, bidet & toilet. This room benefits from its own private access to the Swimming Pool / Chill Out Zone through its patio doors. This gorgeous accommodation has air conditioning, T.V, DVD & fridge plenty of wardrobes space and overlooks the Swimming Pool. The double accommodation also benefits from wireless internet connection.
(Both sets of accommodations are normally available if you prefer a certain one please let us know & we will try to accommodate your preference however we cannot always guarantee this.)

A unique “pink” pool with Jacuzzi, sun terrace with sun loungers, a sauna and a games area complete with music system.

We also have a close connection with a holistic therapist so you can enjoy such treatments as reflexology; facials or Hot Stone back massage.

The perfect way to end your day....

A continental breakfast and evening meal will be provided for you that may include some of our own organically grown produce. We are both enthusiastic “chefs” so you should always enjoy our variety of good home cooked food. Wine & soft drinks are included with the evening meal.

A "light lunch" will be provided at no extra cost for those students staying with us on the days of training.

Vegans & Vegetarians are more than welcome.

( For those students flying in from other countries that are staying onsite; you will not find a course that offers you such good value for money whether you are looking at the courses themselves  or the the Full Board & use of the fabulous facilities).

We are able to collect you from the local Malaga airport for a small charge however we do strongly advise that you organise a car hire for at least some of your stay here in Spain, we can organise this for you or it is very easy to arrange car hire at Malaga airport, there are no problems driving around the inland Costa del Sol. There is also a good local taxi service & we are on a bus route.

Please do not forget your driving licence!!
